The BRITISH CARAVANNERS CLUB, SCOTLAND is a Section of the Camping and Caravanning Club and coversthe whole of Scotland, and as such is unique amongst BCC areas in that it represents a complete country. We try to arrange meets near to the geographical centre of our main membership to allow as many members as possible to attend each meet.

Details of all our 2017 Meets and Temporary Holiday Sites are below..
Please follow local and BCC
signs when near to a site and note that BCC Scotland cannot accept liability
for the route chosen by your Satellite Navigation System.
The use of generators is permitted by BCC Scotland on
all sites with conditions…..i.e.
Must not be run for more than 4 hours at any
one time betwn 9.30am and 6.30pm Must not be left unattended at any time Be considerate to neighbours If required for medical reasons, speak to the duty
steward. A full notice is available at Reception.
Please remember a few golden rules –
Speed limit on site is 5 mph;
All pets on leads & clean up after your pet;
Strictly no part of any toilet to be brought to any
drinking water tap.
If movement on site during inclement weather is
restricted, please follow instructions given by the steward.

with its safe for bathing beautiful sandy beach which stretches for more than a
mile. South from Stranraer on A716 till junction with B7084(A75) follow signs
for Sandhead. Our holiday site at Sandhead is only 500 metres from a sandy
beach, and also provides a perfect base from which to explore the Mull of
Galloway and the SW corner of Scotland.
Ideal for touring Dumfries & Galloway and Wigtownshire. Day trips by ferry
from Cairnryan. The start point of the Southern Upland Way is close by. Own

BCC Scotland invites all units to the border town of Kelso. Site off A699
Kelso-Selkirk road. Do not go into Kelso centre. From Edinburgh &
Coldstream roads follow Hawick signs to top of hill, then take A699 St
Boswells. Short walk
into Kelso. Buses to border towns. Kelso in the Scottish
Borders is regarded as one of the most charming and beautiful
towns in the Borders. With the largest town
market square in Scotland,
four cobbled streets converge on the cobbled town square with its elegant
Georgian and Victorian buildings. Kelso is a thriving Scottish Borders town
with an extensive history dating back to 1128. The unique town centre boasts an
array of small independent businesses and traditional family run shops. It
stands on the banks of the River Tweed with its world
famous salmon fishing and is an ideal location for exploring the
Scottish Borders and North Northumberland.
Local Scottish Border attractions include Floors Castle inhabited by the Duke of
Roxburghe which is the largest family owned house in Scotland,
the ruined Kelso Abbey dating back to 1128, the
historic Rennie Bridge as well as
stunning Georgian and Victorian architecture. Kelso also has a huge array of
sport and recreation including salmon fishing, golf, cycle and
walking routes and also the horse racing track

Troon is a town in South
Ayrshire located to the north of Ayr on the west coast of Scotland, about 8
miles north of Ayr and 3 miles northwest of Glasgow Prestwick International
Airport. Lying across the Firth of Clyde, the Isle of Arran can be seen. Troon
is a popular holiday resort with an amazing seven golf courses, including Royal
Troon, which regularly hosts the famous Open Championship. Nearby is Dundonald Castle, a splendid example of a medieval
tower house, with a fine barrel-vaulted ceiling in the lower hall. The castle
commands fine views over the Firth of Clyde and is built on the site of earlier
castles belonging to the High Stewards of Scotland. The
Scottish Airshow takes place on 1st & 2nd September 2017 with further information
obtainable from their website. Bus stop outside site. Garage

Leave M74 at junction 8. Take A71 dir Wishaw. At Garrion Bridge
roundabout take A72 dir Lanark. Site on left two miles from roundabout. Route from Lanark not recommended for caravans and larger
motorhomes. Situated in the beautiful Clyde Valley
not far from the world heritage site of New Lanark. Toilets available. Farm
shop and restaurant on site. Buses pass
site entry. Car boot sale in adjacent field on Sundays. Good for touring
southern Scotland and
